Connecting AI (Claude)

Connect Claude to draft requests and check status — with everything kept as a draft for your review.

What the assistant can do

Connecting Claude to PRA Center lets it help with the busywork:

  • Look up a request’s status and deadline.
  • List the requests in your workspace.
  • Draft a new request or a follow-up letter.
  • Queue a letter for your approval.
Claude drafts a request, it stays a draft in PRA Center, you review and approve, then it is sentClaudedraftsDraft inPRA CenterYou review& approveSent
Claude drafts; the work stays a draft in PRA Center until you review and approve it. The assistant never sends on its own.

Everything the assistant produces stays a draft. It never sends a letter or files a request on its own — you review and approve.

Connecting Claude

Open Settings → Connect in PRA Center, then:

  • For Claude Code or Claude Desktop, create an API key and add PRA Center as an MCP server.
  • For the Claude web app, add PRA Center as a custom connector and sign in with your PRA Center account.

You can review connected apps and revoke access at any time from Settings → Connect.

Plans and AI

AI features depend on your workspace plan. On the no-AI plan you use the manual request flow, which never touches AI; other plans add the assistant and let you bring your own API key.

Whatever the plan, the human-approval step always applies — the assistant drafts, you decide.

PRA Center provides software assistance, not legal advice.
